Most Australian MSPs source their Microsoft licensing through one of the major Tier-1 CSP distributors. Those relationships work, but they have two persistent issues:

  1. Margin: by the time licences flow through distributor and tier layers, your wholesale price is higher than it needs to be
  2. Channel conflict risk: most large CSPs are also actively competing for end customer relationships, which means your customers are technically prospects to your wholesale partner
