The Relationship
Headspace is a mental health not-for-profit, an organisation where funding is precious and technology has to earn its place. Evocate’s relationship started the right way, with discovery and a services agreement that established what Headspace actually needed before any building began. It then grew into a delivery and support relationship that ran for several years, spanning a specific solution build and ongoing managed services.
The Work
- 2019, SharePoint discovery and Technology Services Agreement: set the scope and the ground rules for the work
- 2020 to 2023, multi-year managed services SLA: provided continuity of support across the period
- 2021, SharePoint archiving solution: managed the information lifecycle and kept the environment lean
Why the Relationship Endures
Not-for-profits need partners who respect the budget and the mission, not just the technology. Starting with discovery meant Evocate understood Headspace’s needs before recommending spend, which builds the kind of trust that turns into a multi-year SLA. The archiving solution is a good example of practical value: managing information growth keeps storage and compliance under control without asking the organisation to think about it. Years of managed services on top meant Headspace could rely on a stable, supported environment.
What This Means for Other Clients
Headspace shows the disciplined path: discover first, agree the terms, then deliver and support over the long term. For mission-driven and not-for-profit organisations, that sequence matters because every dollar is accountable. Evocate’s willingness to begin with a discovery rather than a sales pitch, and to commit to multi-year support, is what makes it a credible partner for organisations that cannot afford to get technology decisions wrong.
