The Relationship
GTA Teleguam is Guam’s telecommunications provider, an organisation operating at a distance from the Australian mainland but well within Evocate’s reach. The relationship began with a full rollout that combined Microsoft 365 with theHub intranet, and then continued years later as the business grew and its Data Centre Division needed licensing. That return engagement, well after the first, is the clearest sign of a relationship that stuck.
The Work
- 2019, Office 365 and theHub intranet: an Office 365 rollout paired with a theHub intranet, giving GTA staff a modern productivity platform and a structured internal home
- 2025, Data Centre Division licensing: Microsoft 365 licences for the GTA Data Centre Division, extending the relationship into a growing part of the business
Why the Relationship Endures
A telco runs on its internal information and communications, so getting the intranet and Office 365 right in 2019 mattered. theHub gave staff a single place to find what they needed, and the Office 365 rollout modernised how they worked. When the Data Centre Division needed licensing in 2025, GTA came back to the partner who already knew the environment rather than starting fresh. Distance was never an obstacle to that trust.
What This Means for Other Clients
GTA Teleguam shows that geography is no barrier to a strong Microsoft partnership, and that a well-delivered first project earns the next one years later. The pairing of theHub with an Office 365 rollout is a proven way to give staff both the tools and the place to use them. For telcos and remote or international organisations, the lesson is that the right partner stays useful as the business grows, even across an ocean.
